What is Mind-Body-Spa?

We have so much on offer at Maitri Studio that sometimes people just don't know what all of these workshops and classes might entail. Here we share a bit about the monthly Mind-Body Spa. If there's anything else you're not sure about, do always ask by emailing [email protected]

The Mind-Body Spa is about making space for you to breathe and come back to your body. To restore and rest. Time out from worry, pressure, the demands of others, and the nagging demands, fears and criticisms of your own mind.

It is run each month by Dr Clare Byrne, a certified Breath-Body-Mind™ teacher, Mind-Body Medicine Certified Practitioner, and a Chartered and Registered Psychologist. Her interest in finding more flexible and accessible ways of working sparked an interest in body-based approaches to working with stress, trauma and adversity. Now mind-body practices have become part of her daily life.

She's run these with us over the last year or so and has some great feedback which she has permission from participants to share with you.

  • I just wanted to say that I had a full night's sleep after the session and have been sleeping much better ever since. Such gentle practices, but they were very powerful! I'm looking forward to coming back next month for another recharge!
