About Rachel

Rachel is a dedicated yoga teacher who has practised yoga since 1994 and has four teaching qualifications. She qualified to teach in 2010 and dedicates significant time to ongoing training. In June 2018 she attained the rigorous Iyengar Yoga teaching certification and teaches this method. Passionate and enthusiastic about her teaching she loves to share the benefits of yoga with her students in a warm, friendly style that supports their progression in yoga. Rachel teaches a range of students from beginners, general, to those with restrictions, at gyms, in workplaces and in partnership with local groups engaging with the local community.

Rachel’s classes

Rachel teaches in person classes. The number of students is limited. This is so that each student can benefit from full instruction, interaction and feedback from Rachel’s teaching. Rachel’s classes are booked on a term-course basis directly with Rachel. Term students get a guaranteed space, can swap classes and get event discounts. Please note Rachel's classes Monday classes are being covered by Claire until and including 14 September, and Claire also runs a weekly Thursday morning class 10-11.15am through September and October. Students are welcome to join Claire or Annamarie's regular Iyengar yoga classes until Rachel returns from holiday. 

Booking for Rachel's winter term is now open to her existing students and she has emailed you all. New students may join after 15th October 2026 when Rachel reviews bookings. 

WINTER TERM commencing 2nd November

Classes restart week commencing 2nd November for a short term as follows. Note the slightly tweaked times. For the Wednesday class it is amalgamated as mixed ability, it will be a general level class with options for beginner level.

Mondays  2nd November - 14th December - term fee £63

• 6-715pm Mixed Ability (General class, beginners welcome)

Thursdays 5th November - 10th December - term fee: £54

• Term fee paid in advance of term starting
• Booking the term works out as approx. 1 class ‘for free’ in 4 (in comparison to drop in rates).
• If you cannot make specific dates and let me know when booking the course, you can swap for free to my other classes (in exceptional circumstances the fee may be further discounted)
• If affordability is an issue let me know so I can arrange something with you - cost is not a barrier to attending
• Paying in instalment is also an option where affordability is an issue
