Dr Clare Byrne is a Mind-Body Medicine Certified Practitioner, Breath-Body-MindTM teacher, Chartered and Registered Psychologist. Clare has been practicing as a forensic psychologist for nearly 20 years. Her interest in finding ways of working that are accessible to people affected by trauma and adversity led her to these mind-body practices, which have become part of her daily life.
Developed over 30 years of collaboration and research, in these groups you will learn simple, effective techniques in a small, supportive group. The skills taught in these groups have been shown to help lower levels of stress, improve mood, enhance resilience and optimism, and help prevent chronic health conditions. The skills include:
Groups of no more than 8-10 people meet for 2 hours a week, for 8 weeks. This gives you the opportunity to begin integrating the mind-body skills into your life, in a real and practical way.
