Winter Solstice ~ Grianstad an Gheimhridh

You’re invited to join Maggie to celebrate Winter Solstice ~ Grianstad an Gheimhridh on Sunday 21st December, 3pm ~ 5.15pm at Maitri Studio Belfast. 

We’ll celebrate by gathering as a community and connecting to this potent time of year.

Winter Solstice marks the darkest time of the year and also when the sun is reborn. It honours our relationship to the darkness and also celebrates the returning light.

This workshop will offer practices connecting to the energy of Winter Solstice:

• Somatics, Restorative, Yin & Yoga Nidra practices
• Reflection & Journaling
• Celtic Wisdom & ritual
• Gathering in community
• Creating a Solstice altar

The workshop is a trauma-informed and mental health aware practice that is inclusive of all bodies and experiences. No prior movement or meditation experience is required.

Come along in your comfy clothes, cosy socks and bring anything you’d like to add to the Solstice altar…be as creative as you like with this!
