A workshop exploring a traditional craft in a non-traditional way.

Join us Saturday 31st January 2-4pm to mark the arrival of Imbolc and the turning of the season though cross weaving and conversation.

While the St. Brigid’s Cross is a familiar symbol, its roots reach far beyond a single narrative, stretching back to pre-Christian traditions and shared global weaving practices. 

Perhaps this is a tradition that you already practice, and you want to explore it more. Perhaps it is simply a tradition that you are curious about. Whether you are drawn to the folklore, the spiritual shift of Imbolc, or the simple meditative act of making, Cara will ask you to consider what this practice means to you.

Come share in the craft, contribute to the conversation, and leave with a handmade cross that reflects your own connection to this evolving tradition.
