Gabriella brings the “Easter Ashtanga Egg-stra Specials workshop” to Maitri Studio on Saturday 19th April 2025 9-11am

I’ve created these experiences from a deep belief in the power of consistent, focused self practice -but also a need for tapping into the energy and support of community mixed with some fun experiences.

Easter Ashtanga Experience Saturday, April 19th

Extended morning session to create sacred space for a traditional led Ashtanga practice

Awaken breath + bandhas with Agni Sara Kriya

Flow through a slightly shortened  Primary Series with a special  focus on backbends: techniques to improve and progress

I will share techniques for all levels from more basic backbends to Urdvha Dhanurasana (Full wheel  pose) and we may have a look at how to progress safely up to the seemingly elusive drop backs  

Explore what is needed to open and to strengthen to work towards this peak of the primary series 

Full finishing sequence and savasana.

Optional post-practice  community gathering @ Native Coffee, Queens Quay, Belfast.
