What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?

This durational practice works with a rhythmic breathing pattern where there is no pause between the inhale and exhale. At first it can feel like climbing a mountain -- moving and shifting debris through continuous expansion and contraction. It's underscored by a carefully curated soundscape, and after around 20 minutes we open into a space of renewal: inner waters moving freely, breath unguarded, pleasure activated.

Through this medicinal phase we become attuned to the liberation available to us from the inside out - with our breath as the access point.

Used therapeutically and ceremonially across traditions - from Rebirthing to Holotropic Breathwork - it activates the body's own intelligence, supporting cellular renewal, digestion, and profound states of presence. No experience necessary.

Your Facilitator

Mary O'Loan is the trauma-informed author and educator behind the Rebirthing module on the Meta DNA Ecological Bodywork Practitioner Training. She has worked across the UK and Ireland and graduated after 12 months with Alchemy of Breath (2021). Mary is currently pioneering work that speaks to the transpersonal psychology of the artist in process - carefully marrying the wisdom of the holistic and the scientific across creative disciplines.

This year-long programme will introduce fundamental aspects of the work over time: voice, ritual, movement, mythopoetics and felt sense attunement.

Who is it for?

Mary invites anyone who feels drawn to this work. Where contraindications apply, an alternate breathing pattern tailored to your needs will be offered. What matters is that you arrive. The breath will meet you where you are.

It is your responsibility to inform Mary of any contraindications or hesitations before the ceremony begins.
