Rest & Relax Yoga on Thursday evenings

Olivia will be holding a 4 week Rest & Relax yoga course:

  • Thursdays 5-26th October 6.30-7.30pm

**Please note the different times! This has moved from 7.45pm. NB Thurs 28th cancelled due to illness.

This course is suitable for those completely new to yoga and seasoned yogis alike who are in need of some mindful relaxation.

Over the 4 weeks we will explore slow mindful transitions between poses, connecting movement to our breath, develop our balance, improve our flexibility and hold some space for ourselves to simply be in a safe and supportive environment.

Each class will begin with grounding relaxation, followed by a gentle and mindful sequence of movement, and ending with candlelit relaxation and a cup of yogi tea.

  • 6.30-7.30pm in Lotus room from 5th October 2023

About Olivia

"I first discovered yoga about 10 years ago in a small community hall in Bangor as a very shy and anxious young adult. Yoga almost immediately felt to me like "coming home" and it still does every time I roll out my yoga mat. Yoga gives me confidence, respect for my body and the ability to quieten my busy mind.

I carried on my yoga practice throughout my 20s, but it wasn't until a trip to northern India in 2019 that I realised I needed to know more about the ancient practice. I completed my 200 hrs in Hatha Yoga at Santosha Yoga in Lisburn and now it fills me with joy to be able to share my learnings so far with others in my own yoga classes."
