About Mary: Breathwork Educator, Author & Intimacy Co-ordinator for HETV and Film

Mary is a formally certified Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) practitioner, author and educator. Her major work is supporting clients in realising their agency and potential using the breath as the access point.

Mary creates medicinal containers for individuals to come home to themselves, whether they are navigating the spaces between roles, relationships or creative projects, empowering them to step forward as conscious creators in the world. She trained extensively with Alchemy of Breath for over a year before spending three months in daily, supervised practice in Tuscany, Italy and has since gone on to pioneer in the field.

About Conscious Connected Breathwork: agency and liberation

• The Breath as Your Access Point: Mary discovered CCB not out of a need to be "saved" or "fixed," but as an act of pure exploration. Through it, she found an unshakeable sense of physiological agency over healing and transformation processes that went deep beyond what she could have imagined. The breath has a profound way of healing specific organs and releasing blockages, opening up a whole new way of being in the world. 
• You Are the Creator: In the spaces Mary holds, you are the sole author of your experience. We all know how to be born. You are invited to listen and respond entirely to the voice within you, using the breath as your guide from the inside out.
• The Hatchery: Art, like life, requires safe hatchery to thrive. Because true agency is always relative and relational, informed consent sits at the heart of all matters here. Intimate Ceremonial Breathwork at Maitri

This space is a dedicated opportunity to experience the medicine of your own breath, in your own space and time. The environment is specifically designed to honour female physiology and simulate a safe, ideal birthing environment - making it an exceptionally restorative, deeply holding space that is open and accessible to all human physiology, regardless of gender identity.

The Journey: What to Expect

The two-hour session uses a continuous, rhythmic breathing pattern with no pause between the inhale and exhale, supported by a carefully curated soundscape.

• The Expansion (first 20 Minutes): The practice begins with connection and coherence before moving into shifting internal debris. This phase works through deep, intentional expansion and contraction, which can initially feel like climbing a mountain.
• The Liberation & Renewal: After the initial phase, the practice opens into a profound space of renewal. Your breath becomes unguarded, your inner waters move freely and we move into a 'process' that can feel profoundly liberating. The experience in this medicinal phase is unique, varying beautifully from person to person as your physical system rewires itself.
• Surrender & Revelation: As we surrender to guidance of our breath, we make space for revelations. We take our time as we slowly make our way back home, consciously, new.  Clients often report feeling lighter, changed and 'more of themselves' following a practice.

• Contraindications include: Pregnancy, cardiovascular issues, severe hypertension, a history of aneurysms, epilepsy, severe psychiatric conditions, or recent surgery.
• Our Commitment: If any contraindications apply to you, Mary will provide a tailored, alternate breathing pattern. What matters is that you arrive; the breath will meet you exactly where you are.
