“I have noticed increased mobility and reduced pain in the couple of days after each session, and it is lovely to take time for myself. The sessions are definitely improving my relationship with my body, making me realise I’m stronger than I thought and reminding me that looking after myself is important. The classes are great for relaxation, too. I always feel calmer at the end than when I walked into the room.”
Anonymous student, Belfast.
“Give it a go and don’t worry about a lack of experience, skill level or flexibility. This course worked with our limitations, and everyone was valued and felt confident.”

“The session is brilliant for easing my stiffness and muscle tension associated with my pain. My lower back pain always improves after class. I feel calm during class. Deirdre is excellent at gently tweaking positions and offering support.
Have a chat with Deirdre before coming to help with any nerves, but everyone in class is in a similar boat and is looking for a bit of relief from symptoms, so you’ll fit right in! Love it all.”
Anonymous Chronic pain and balance issues secondary to Multiple Sclerosis
“Sessions are always very enjoyable and relaxed. Deirdre clearly explains the exercises and poses. She always shares interesting ideas or research, which is great. The classes are varied and use different equipment. I’m always glad I’ve been to the class and feel less stiff and sore afterwards. This class is very welcoming and suitable for anyone. I love that if I’m not able to do an exercise, that’s ok and Deirdre offers different options to accommodate any difficulties anyone has in the class. Definitely no judgements made by anyone. This is a very unique class, and I’m so glad I’ve joined it.”
Anonymous: Chronic widespread pain secondary to Polymyalgia Rheumatica
“The sessions have built my confidence in moving my body after surgery. What began as something very daunting became the highlight of my week and the reset I needed. My pelvic pain also decreased significantly as I continued with exercises at home. Any accommodations you need can be made to work around where your body is at, and there is a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure.”
