This is an invitation to step away from the noise and demands of everyday life and pressures and enter a space of calm, presence and deep care.
Kathleen holds a space where the body is listened to, the mind can rest and the heart has room to soften. Each treatment is guided by your unique needs as they present, creating the opportunity for you to enjoy the wisdom that already exists inside of you. Oriental medicine is holistic and the free flow of qi or life force energy, nourishes our wellbeing physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Kathleen's shiatsu offers you a deeply nurturing space to come home to yourself, whether seeking relaxation, renewal, healing or simply an experience of deep stillness and peace.

Using mindful touch and attentive presence, this shiatsu supports the natural flow of energy throughout the body, mind and spirit allowing a deep sense of ease, clarity and connection to emerge.

Shiatsu
 

Shiatsu is a healing modality from Japan with its roots in Chinese Medicine. It embraces the philosophy of yin and yang, the energy meridians, Five Element Theory and the concept of ki/chi, energy or universal life force. 

Kathleen works with both Zen and Classical Shiatsu. She has a finely tuned and deep intuitive awareness, integrating attentive and expansive touch, both life and deep, to facilitate release of resistances and blockages. This awakens the mind, body and spirit to reconnect with self, other, the heavens and the earth. She has a particular interest in, and experience of, working with trauma, emotional issues and associated imbalances in a safe and nurturing space. 

Kathleen will take booking for appointments during the day on Wednesday 17th June 2026 from 12pm.
