You’re invited to join Maggie for an Imbolg Gathering on Sunday 8th February, 2pm ~ 4.15pm at Maitri Studio Belfast. 

The  space between Winter Solstice and Imbolg is called Dreamtime. A space for us to dream up new possibilities, ways of being and seeds of intention to plant at Imbolg. 

'The  season of Imbolg marks the very first signs of springtime and new life. It means ‘in the belly’ and gives rise to a beautiful metaphor that describes this time as ‘winter pregnant with summer’. The essence of this season is welcoming the returning light and a celebration of the stirring of the life force, or neart, in the land.’

Brigid was a fiery and kind Goddess / Saint who was dedicated to her community and advocated for those marginalised. She shone light on the darkness and invites us to plant seeds of change in service to communities of care for a kinder more connected planet.


This workshop will offer practices connecting to the energy of Imbolc;

• Somatics, Restorative, Yin & Yoga Nidra practices
• Celtic Wisdom & ritual inspired by Brigid and Imbolc
• Gathering in community
• Creating an Imbolg altar

The  workshop is a trauma-informed and mental health aware practice that is inclusive of all bodies and experiences. No prior movement or meditation experience is required. 

Come  along in your comfy clothes, cosy socks and bring anything you’d like  to add to the altar…be as creative as you like with this!
