Fire staff flow ~ start your year on a high!

Join Steven for a unique movement experience where skill meets play, and mindfulness meets music.

Staff Arts Flow is a joyful blend of coordination, creativity, and connection. 6 weekly classes combine dance, flow arts, and fundamental staff techniques in a class that's open to all.

Five classes are held at Maitri Studio on Thursday evenings 7.30-8.30pm starting Thursday 15th January 2026.

The final class is an outdoor meet up where we use the fire element as well! This will most likely be at Helen's bay date tbc (weather dependent) and a wonderful way to celebrate the year's end and all your achievements.

£119.99 for the course, all equipment provided, includes a 1:1 session to help you refine your flow

At the end of the course you’ll be invited to the outdoor staff flow social with music, LED/fire staffs, and stick bread with campfire.

About Steven

Steven is someone who's always moving - not just for fitness, but for the joy of what the body can do. He loves helping others discover functional, sustainable movement that feels good and builds clarity.

Not only has he been creating a personal practice of working with the fire staff and swords for many years, he's also performed at events and recently celebrated his first group of students with a spectacular fire jam. Nothing makes him happier than seeing people surprise themselves and watching a community cheer each other on.

Steven’s movement interests have no end range, from handstands and martial arts to breathwork, endurance, flow arts, calisthenics gymnastics and everything in between, "its all movement, just different labels". He’s worked with people of all ages and backgrounds and has supported charity programmes and fundraisers through his teaching, as a qualified personal trainer/movement coach, he is friendly, patient, and genuinely encouraging,

Steven creates a welcoming space where everyone can explore new skills, reconnect with their bodies, and find their own unique flow.
