Discover Myofascial Energetic Release

I am Guillaume, a body work lover exploring healing modalities since my teens.

After years practising Shiatsu and other massages, I trained in trauma-informed somatic psychotherapies with Dr Gabor Maté and Dr Laurence Heller to better meet the needs of my clients.

Despite all my tools, I was seeing a lot of physical pain and felt helpless to help relieve my clients. Bringing more understanding was helpful but we were missing something. That’s when I trained in Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) which brought in this missing link. A powerful hands-on holistic approach, addressing the root cause of pain in an embodied way while supporting people’s emotional expression.

Passionate about it, I went all in and my teacher invited me to teach the basics of this beautiful practice.

Together we will explore MER mainly through hands-on practice while keeping some theoretical time to discuss about the Fascia System.

The goal of the weekend is to give you a foundation on MER technic and the essential qualities needed for effective treatment.

Every morning we start with an active meditation combining shaking, unwinding, dancing and sitting.

After a short demonstration, you will pair up to be able to both give and receive MER.

At the end you will have a protocol to give MER on the Back, Neck and Shoulders.

A .pdf document will be shared few weeks before the training with basic knowledge on Fascia and some important information about the MER practice.

After the workshop, you will receive the recorded demonstrations so you can keep on studying them and practice well from home.

This workshop is as much suited for bodyworkers wanting to discover a highly effective approach as it is for anyone on their self-discovery journey, wishing to explore their body, their somatic language and their emotional holding patterns.
