For Nidhi, yoga is a way of life, a journey. It gives her immense joy and satisfaction, and she would love everyone to experience and feel the joy in yoga.

Nidhi's classes

Ashtanga Yoga

Saturdays from 9.45–11.15am

Classes from 17th August - 7th September will be drop-in only.

The next 6 week block will run from 21st September - 26th October. You can drop-in if spaces are available.

You will practice the Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series, which includes sun salutations A and B, standing asanas, seated asanas, vinyasas and inversions. Practitioners will be encouraged to explore these postures in depth, and mindfully integrate movement and breath.

All classes are well-rounded and will leave you balanced and energised. You will progressively build strength, flexibility and concentration whilst learning to calm the mind.

Every student will be encouraged to work at a level that is appropriate to them to ensure a safe and effective practice. Props and modifications will be offered for proper alignment and ease in postures.

The 6-week block costs £45 or drop-in £9 and booking is essential.


Mixed Ability Yoga

Wednesdays 7.25–8.25pm, starting on Wednesday 4th September

A mixed ability class for those with some experience in basic yoga poses and for those who would like to deepen their practice.

You will be encouraged to experience the practice as an active form of movement meditation. The classes will include a strong mix of sun salutations, standing asanas, seated asanas and core work. Practitioners will be encouraged to explore these postures in depth, and mindfully integrate movement and breath.

Every student will be encouraged to work at a level that is appropriate to them to ensure a safe and effective practice. Props and modifications will be offered for proper alignment and ease in postures.

Cost: Drop-in £7 or 6 class pass - £36


Evening Yoga

Wednesdays 8.30–9.30 pm. Please note the new times of 8.35-9.35pm from September 4th.

Suitable for all levels.

A calming class that incorporates gentle asana practice, breath work, guided pranayama and relaxation to support quieting of the mind for a restful night’s sleep.

This is a perfect class for those wanting to slow down, ease away the day and just breathe.

About Nidhi

Nidhi is from Bangalore, India. She came to the UK in 2011 and has been living in Belfast since 2014. She has a PhD in electrical engineering from Queen’s University Belfast.

Yoga has always been a part of her life, right from her childhood days. It was a part of her school curriculum. However, it was not until her early 20’s that she began a regular Hatha Yoga practice and explored other styles of Yoga such as Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teaching Diploma from Sanathana Yoga Shala (a1000yoga), Bangalore, India in 2014. She teaches a range of classes such as Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Vinyasa Flow and caters to students at different levels, including for two years at Santosha in Lisburn. She regularly attends classes and workshops with teachers from different parts of the world. This allows her to continuously learn different approaches to teaching and to improve her own practice.
