Tranquil Yoga with Lauren on Wednesdays

Life moves fast and so often we don’t remember how important it is to put ourselves first and take some time out away from the usual hectic pace of the day. So take some time each week to leave everything and everyone to the side and relax and restore your mind, body and soul with tranquil flow yoga.

Tranquil flow yoga is a flowing style of yoga that helps you to fall in love with taking care of yourself. A beautiful blend of aromatherapy and flowing yoga, soothing music and candlelight make Tranquil Yoga time for you to slow down, breathe deeper and leave feeling relaxed and restored.

Enjoy a gentle yoga practice for all levels, sizes, and age. It doesn't matter if you practice regularly or are a complete beginner there is a place for everyone and everybody on the mat.

Classes are on Wednesdays at 7.45-8.45pm

£8 drop in, £42 for 6 class pass.

“I have been practicing yoga for years but finally took the plunge and completed my teaching training this year. I took so long to decide to teach worrying that I might be too old, not in perfect shape, nor flexible enough to be a teacher. My training brought so much more than I expected, acceptance of my body as it is, and appreciation of what it can do; the joy of movement and of finding stillness amid the hectic pace of life. I feel so privileged to now have the opportunity to share my love of yoga in Maitri, where I was so warmly welcomed to classes myself, and to help others to embrace their body whatever their shape, size or ability and to feel the benefits of yoga practice.”

Lauren continues her training and is currently training in Children’s Yoga and hopes to train further in Yoga for Menopause in the near future.
